The easiest way to reach the Villa is to take the A1 (freeway that connects FLORENCE to ROME- NAPLES AND MILAN) a handy way to travel in all directions including Tuscany, Umbria and high Lazio.
There are many small architecture pearls and great places to discover good food and wine in the cities and countryside of Tuscany.
It is possible to quickly reach down town Arezzo, where you can visit the world famous goldsmiths. Or see one of the most visited Antique art fairs.
Any season or occasion is a good time to visit the Villa.
The closest airports are Florence (50 km) and Pisa (147 km). Bologna is 168 km far and Rome 270 km.
From Milan and Rome by the highway A1, exit Arezzo
Follow direction Casentino – Bibbiena (main road SS71).
Pass the village of Subbiano after 5 km at km 166.800.
Turn right to Poggio D’Acona (there is a board writing “Agriturismo Il Trebbio”).
Once arrived at the village, turn right to Chitignano.
After passing the hill (about 700 meters of unsurfaced road), follow to “Villa Poggio dei Cipressi”.
From the main road E45
Exit the main road E45 at Anghiari.
Cross the Scheggia pass and follow direction Capolona; drive on to Subbiano after 5 km at km 166.800.
Turn right to Poggio D’Acona (there is a board writing “Agriturismo Il Trebbio”).
Once arrived at the village, turn right to Chitignano.
After passing the hill (about 700 meters of unsurfaced road), follow to “Villa Poggio dei Cipressi”.
Railway line Arezzo-Stia: stop at Calbenzano (7 km).
From Florence: bus service SITA, line Florence-Bibbiena, stop at Bibbiena Station.
